Job summary

Stagecoach Rugby Depot is recruiting for a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprentice. No prior bus experience is required; you’ll be paid while you train to gain your PCV licence through a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship.

You’ll train for roughly 6–8 weeks at Rugby, with a permanent rate of £16.22 per hour during training and ambitious earnings once qualified. Annual earnings target around £34,881 based on 39 hours per week, with shifts 5 days out of 7.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or over and hold a UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
• Right to work in the UK
• Willing to learn and be part of a great team
• Great attitude and customer service passion

Responsibilities

• Complete industry leading training and secure your PCV licence as part of the Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship
• Drive our bus fleet safely and confidently
• Deliver excellent customer service on each journey
• Welcome and assist customers, ensuring they feel safe and supported
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends
