Job summary

Stagecoach Kendal Depot in Kendal is recruiting for a Trainee PCV Driver Apprentice. You’ll get fully paid training to gain your PCV license and complete a Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship, earning while you learn.

Starting pay during training is £14.10 per hour; after qualification you’ll earn £15.20 per hour with 40-hour weeks, and annual earnings around £31,600. You’ll cover a 5-in-7 shift pattern and join a supportive team focused on safe, friendly passenger journeys.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old with UK driving licence and ≤6 penalty points.
• Right to work in the UK and DVLA residency requirements met.
• Willing to complete Level 2 Bus Driver Apprenticeship with paid training.

Responsibilities

• Complete industry-leading training and gain PCV licence.
• Drive the Stagecoach fleet safely and provide excellent customer service.
• Participate in CPC training and ongoing professional development.
• Work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends.
