The role

• Transport customers and staff safely, both landside and airside.
• Provide excellent customer service to make every journey exceptional.
• Assist with luggage, ensuring items are securely stored on the vehicle.
• Comply with P.C.V. (passenger carrying vehicle) Law, Regulations, and the Road Traffic Act, as covered in Driver Training and P.C.V. Tests.
• Stay updated with current DDA and PCV regulations.
• Report vehicle defects or parking equipment issues to the Customer Transport Manager to ensure safety and comfort.
• Report suspicious activity or vehicle damage observed during routes to maintain safety and service standards.
• Prepare official reports related to incidents or observations as needed.
• Report lost property items promptly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness throughout shifts.

Due to the 24/7 nature of airport operations, full flexibility is required, including a mix of day and night shifts.

What will make you successful in the role?

You must have a clean driving licence and hold a PCV licence for at least 2 years.

NVQ Level 2 in customer service or passenger transport is advantageous.

Additionally, you should hold a valid CPC driver validation card with all modules completed. Please bring a printout of your completed CPC modules (see GOV.UK link). Ensure you apply for a PIN code, which will be sent by mail, to access your modules. Incomplete modules will prevent your application from progressing.
