Job description

Bus Driver

We have an amazing resource in the way of a double decker bus; it is a hub for young people to meet friends or seek support. We also use it as an event space.

We are looking for a pool of volunteer bus drivers to add to our rota, giving time on an ad hoc basis. The volunteering can take place across Hampshire with the bus based in Stubbington, Fareham; you can specify when and where you are prepared to drive.

Skills

Experience driving vintage diesel buses with the correct license and a good driving record.

Adhering to the Road Traffic Act, Motor Vehicles Act, and other road signs and restrictions.

Report any accidents, vehicle damage, or mechanical issues to a member of staff on duty.

As you will be volunteering for a youth charity, an enhanced DBS check is required (arranged and paid for by us).

References required to check suitability.
