Job summary

SPS Bus, a division of First Bus, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Vehicle Presentation Team (VPT) to keep buses clean, safe and ready for the day ahead for the HPC workforce. This full‑time day shift role offers 42.5 hours per week (Tue–Sat) with pay of £15.09 per hour.

The role contributes to a critical operation, ensuring thousands travel safely to one of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects. Training emphasises safety, responsibility, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Essential: Flexibility to work across a 24/7 operation.
• Essential: Attention to detail.
• Desirable: Previous commercial cleaning experience.
• Desirable: Health & Safety awareness.
• Desirable: COSHH knowledge.
• Desirable: First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our fleet in top condition—clean, fresh, and ready for service every day.
• Working efficiently to meet cleaning schedules without compromising quality.
• Helping to create a safe and comfortable environment for passengers.
• Following all health, safety, and security procedures.
• Using PPE correctly and working safely with cleaning products (COSHH compliant).
• Taking care of equipment and reporting any faults promptly.
• Maintaining a tidy, organised workspace and professional standards at all times.

SPS was formed in 2016 and serves the passenger transport needs of the EDF Nuclear Project at Hinkley Point C (HPC) in Bridgwater, the largest construction project in Europe. Vehicle Presentation Team - Day Shift
