Diana Lynch will retire in 2025 after 30 years of outstanding service to the School. The Head and Governors are seeking a successor as Bursar to provide strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership. The appointee will ensure that Godolphin and Latymer continues to have robust finances and outstanding support services, as well as playing a critical role in preparing the School for future opportunities and challenges.

The successful candidate will have substantial generalist leadership and management experience gained in complex, multi-stakeholder settings. They will demonstrate outstanding relationship-building and communication skills, as well as the strategic ability to support the commercial development of Godolphin and Latymer. Working closely with the Head, the new Bursar will possess a personal ethos of service and a commitment to developing people. Existing school bursar experience is not a prerequisite, and applications are encouraged from candidates with diverse backgrounds in commercial, charitable, private-sector, and public-sector roles.

The role involves contact with children during the school day. While unlikely to involve direct work with children, the successful candidate will interact with pupils when moving around the school.
