University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly qualified Team Lead Physiotherapist to join the Burns and Plastics Therapy team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. You will lead specialist assessment and management within burns pathways and support MDT collaboration across wards, theatre, and outpatients.

Qualifications

• Essential: Appropriate Physiotherapy or professional qualification (MCSP/BSc or MSc).
• Registration with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• CSP or equivalent professional registration.
• Evidence of commitment to advanced clinical and non-clinical CPD within own specialty.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously undertake specialist, advanced assessment and treatment of burns and plastic surgery patients.
• Use advanced evidence-based clinical reasoning to diagnose and plan treatment.
• Develop knowledge and skills in oedema and scarring management (contractures, pressure therapy, silicone).
• Lead and support staff development, clinical teaching of staff and undergraduates.
• Participate in service evaluation, quality improvement, and present outcomes at various platforms.
