Job summary

KIMS Hospital in Sevenoaks is seeking a dedicated BUPA Health Advisor to conduct health assessments and guide patients toward healthier lifestyles. This full-time, on-site role at Sevenoaks Medical Centre offers opportunities to assess ECGs, bloods, vitals, and provide tailored advice to support long-term wellbeing.

You will maintain a safe, clean assessment environment, deliver excellent customer care, and collaborate with clinical teams to help patients make meaningful lifestyle changes.

Qualifications

• Experience of performing measurements or assessments in health or fitness contexts.
• Holds a post-secondary vocational qualification in a relevant subject.
• Experience giving patient advice on healthy living (activity, nutrition, sleep and stress).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests as part of the health assessment, including ECG, venipuncture, blood pressure, body measurements, and using the body stat machine.
• Provide personalized lifestyle advice tailored to the patient\'s needs, considering health risks, assessment findings, and goals for health and wellbeing.
• Ensure all equipment is prepared for each health assessment and maintain a clean, safe environment afterward.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by prioritizing the patient at the heart of their health assessment.

As a BUPA Health Advisor, you'll conduct various health assessments and collaborate with patients to help them make the necessary changes for a longer, healthier, and happier life. This is a full-time role working at Sevenoaks Medical Centre in Sevenoaks, and any other facilities as required. • Conduct tests as part of the health assessment, including electrocardiograms, blood sampling via venepuncture, blood pressure measurements, body measurements, and utilizing the body stat machine.
• Provide personalized lifestyle advice tailored to the patient's needs, considering their health risks, health assessment findings, and their goals for health and wellbeing.
• Ensure all equipment is prepared in advance for each health assessment session, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe environment afterward.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by prioritizing the patient at the heart of their health assessment., For more information regarding this role please see the attached job description and person specification.
  Have experience of performing measurement or assessment in a health and fitness.
• Have experience of giving patient advice in a healthy living / lifestyle context, including physical activity, nutrition, smoking, alcohol, sleep and stress management.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills., Have experience working as a Health Advisor in a clinical setting., Hold a post-secondary education vocational qualification in a relevant subject., This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
