Job summary

SeeMeHired is seeking a Grade 2 Bulk Terminal operative for Tilbury. You will support loading/unloading of cargo, operate weighbridges and automated systems, and ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and procedural standards in a fast-paced port environment.

The role requires a proactive, team-oriented approach with a strong focus on health and safety and willingness to learn to operate equipment and systems. UK driving licence and working rights are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, logistics, manufacturing, agricultural, port or bulk handling environments preferred.
• Willingness to learn, operate equipment and automated systems.
• Full UK driving licence and UK working rights.

Responsibilities

• Handle cargo and plant with due care and attention.
• Co-operate with management to meet customer requirements safely and efficiently.
• Promote a safety-first culture and adhere to risk assessments and method statements.
• Report incidents or unsafe observations through approved channels (training provided).
• Develop and maintain good working relationships within the Bulk Terminal team.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and professionalism at all times.
• Operate loading/unloading of lorries and vessels, and weighbridge/automation systems as required.
