Carr's Billington Agriculture is seeking a Bulk Farm Delivery Driver (LGV) to operate on-site LGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of animal feed, ensuring safety and compliance while meeting customer needs in Carlisle.

The role requires a flexible, independent worker with strong communication skills and experience in animal feed or agriculture, contributing to fleet profitability and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate LGV vehicles for the delivery and collection of animal feed product safely, effectively, and efficiently within the law to meet customer needs.
• Deliver feed efficiently to generate revenue and ensure fleet profitability.
• Provide outstanding service to customers, promote the company brand, and confidently identify and solve customer needs.
• Ensure the vehicle is driven in compliance with the Operator's Licence and legal requirements.
• Maintain a safe working manner prioritizing health and safety of self, colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
• Complete daily tasks and routines timely, with flexibility to support fleet efficiency.
• Review and improve driving style and performance to support fuel efficiency standards.
• Report and address concerns regarding quality, service, environmental, and safety issues promptly.
• Adhere to Company and Group policies related to Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
• Comply with relevant legislation and codes of practice, including UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes.
