Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Project Manager to join the Buildings team across multiple UK offices, including Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle. You will lead project delivery through RIBA stages, integrating multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with Central Government, Local Authority, and Private Sector clients.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable project management experience in the Buildings sector.
• Knowledge and application of pre and post contract project management and contract management methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
• Working towards MAPM / MRICS / MCIOB or equivalent Chartered Professional.
• Experience in NEC/contract management is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients to define the strategic brief, including goals and objectives.
• Assist in establishing and procuring the project team.
• Define project success factors: time, cost, quality, environmental and social outcomes.
• Define and agree governance structure aligned to client requirements.
• Produce a detailed project execution plan and establish reporting requirements.
• Lead as integrator of multidiscipline services across the project life cycle.
• Manage change control and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Develop and implement a communication strategy and information management plan.
