We currently have a vacancy open for Building Surveyors at various levels (Apprentice to Chartered) who are looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at our Birmingham office, subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting and or the delivery of building surveying services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi‑disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include
  • Assisting with / Conducting building condition surveys and producing clear, insightful reports for clients.
  • Supporting the preparation / Preparation of tender documentation – including drawings, specifications, and schedules of work.
  • Assisting / Issuing with tender submissions, contractor analysis, and the drafting / raising of JCT construction contracts.
  • Taking part in / Organising re‑contract briefings and ensuring smooth project handovers with the team.
  • Carrying out regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and health & safety compliance.
  • Input / Manage fee projections for financial profiling across various projects
  • Attending client and project meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical confidence.
  • Travelling to sites and client locations as required.
Apprentice level
  • A-Level qualifications in line with UCAS requirements (or predicted)
  • An interest in Building Surveying
Building Surveying
  • A relevant degree or strong working experience
  • Experience working with AutoCAD
  • Working towards or hoping to achieve RICS Chartership
  • MRICS Chartered

This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Holiday: 25 days (pro‑rated) plus bank holidays.
