Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Surveyor to provide expert advice on technical due diligence and general surveying tasks within the Building Consultancy function.

You will support specialist surveying services, inspections, and planning, working to deliver client-focused solutions and value. The role emphasises collaboration, accuracy, and commercial awareness to meet client needs in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for calculating percentages, fractions and financial figures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments to grow relationships and opportunities.
• Deliver client solutions with the right mix of experience, skills and commerciality.
• Assist with providing client advice and carrying out consultancy tasks.
• Assist with building surveys for investments and prepare related reports.
• Prepare schedules of dilapidations and negotiate claims for landlords or tenants.
