We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Building Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing Newcastle based team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, including acquisition surveys, defect inspections, dilapidations, and project work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct residential and commercial property acquisition surveys

Prepare schedules of dilapidations and conditions

Manage projects, including scheduling works and tendering

Write detailed and accurate reports

Communicate effectively with clients and advise on defects and repairs

Work with a range of building styles, including listed buildings

Requirements:

A minimum 2:1 degree in Building Surveying

MRICS (depending on the level of position applied for)

Strong understanding of building construction

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

Commercial awareness and ability to network

Residential and commercial building surveying experience (depending on experience level)
