Job summary

Bruntwood SciTech is seeking a Building Surveyor to manage multi-discipline building assets in Manchester. You’ll work in a collaborative team, delivering Cat A/B fits, fabric and M&E projects, with budget awareness and creative problem solving.

You’ll be supported toward APC progression and will contribute to a portfolio spanning office, lab and tech spaces within the city centre assets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience as a Building Surveyor in a commercial property company.
• APC progress encouraged; support provided for APC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects within your cluster of buildings using best-practice analysis.
• Engage with the portfolio team to meet high customer standards.
• Lead low-to-medium value projects for assets and fit-outs.
• Focus on fabric, M&E, refurbishments and minor aesthetic schemes.
• Consider budgets and strive for best value using benchmark data.
• Understand fabric and infrastructure to provide joined-up advisory decisions.
• Proactively manage portfolio strategic works in line with plans.
• Support project handover post-PC and close out snagging.
