Job summary

Zodiac Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Building Surveyor to join the Building Consultancy team covering Cheshire, Staffordshire and Wirral. You will manage your own caseload for loss adjusters, insurers and policyholders while also handling traditional building surveying work.

The role offers a 35-hour week, flexible working between home and office, plus a benefits package including an electric car scheme and pension enhancements.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out defect surveys and preparing costed schedules of works.
• Working knowledge of JCT contracts and CDM Regulations.
• RICS or MCIOB qualified, or working towards it.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out defect diagnosis surveys and prepare schedules of works.
• Oversee repair projects from instruction to completion.
• Manage JCT contract matters, including variations, payments and liquidated damages.
• Keep loss adjusters, insurers and policyholders updated.
