Surveyor | Social Housing
Fancy a role where your technical expertise is actually listened to?
Not another job where you're constantly firefighting.
Not another diary full of avoidable issues created by poor planning.
And not another organisation where surveying is treated as an afterthought.
If you're an experienced Surveyor looking for a position with genuine variety, autonomy and influence, this could be worth a look.
We're working with a well-established housing provider that is investing heavily in its homes, services and customer experience. As part of that commitment, they're looking for a Surveyor who can provide technical leadership across repairs, disrepair, planned works and property investment programmes.
This isn't a purely desk-based role.
Nor is it purely reactive.
It's the type of position where you'll use your technical knowledge to solve complex property issues, support strategic decisions and help maintain high standards across a varied housing portfolio.
You'll act as the technical lead on a broad range of surveying activities, including:
You'll be trusted to make informed decisions, manage your own workload and work closely with colleagues across repairs, planned works and asset management functions.
You'll likely have experience within social housing, property maintenance, asset management or building surveying and be comfortable managing a varied workload across occupied homes.
Membership of RICS would be advantageous but isn't essential
In short, you'll be able to focus on what you're good at: solving property problems, improving homes and delivering professional advice that adds value.
