This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding team where you will play an active role in delivering project and professional services to a wide range of public and private sector clients. We are a well-established multi-disciplined practice providing consultancy services across both sectors.
Established in 1954, our office is in Sidcup. We are currently recruiting due to recent success on major frameworks within London and the South East of England.
Our work mainly focuses on the public sector, with projects in education, residential, public, and community buildings. We have strong links with Local Authorities, County Councils, and Housing Associations, with a reputation for successfully delivering projects in these areas.
We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our Building Surveying Team at Sidcup during this exciting expansion. The role involves working with new clients on interesting projects.
The candidate should have good knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, tender documentation, contracts, and be capable of undertaking Contract Administration and Employer’s Agent duties across various projects.
Ideal candidates will have experience in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis, and formal report preparation; familiarity with building regulations and planning applications is also desirable.
Additional skills such as aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge of CDM regulations would be advantageous.
The candidate should ideally be MRICS qualified.
They should possess good communication, management, and team-working skills, be able to work independently, have a full clean driving license, and own a road-legal vehicle.
