Job summary

South Lakes Housing is seeking a Building Surveyor to lead complex surveys across its property portfolio, focusing on structural, mould and damp issues, adaptations and customer alterations. The role is full-time (37 hours per week) with hybrid working.

You will also help determine Customer First outcomes and ensure properties meet standards, with eligibility checks including right to work in the UK.

Job description

This Building Surveyor post sits in South Lakes Housing's Property Services directorate. The work centres on leading complex surveys of the organisation's properties, including structural, mould and damp issues, alongside adaptations and customer alterations, and helping to decide Customer First outcomes. It is a full-time role of 37 hours a week, with hybrid working offered. Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
