Job summary

KEYSTONE DESIGN ASSOCIATES LIMITED is seeking a full-time Building Surveyor for permanent work in Blackpool, England. The role focuses on drafting with CAD, occasional 3D modelling, and MS Office to support planning and building regulation submissions.

You will work with the design team, handling client and builder communications on-site or via calls, with mileage paid for site visits. The position is largely office-based but offers flexible hours to suit your needs.

Qualifications

• B.Sc (Hons) in Building Surveying or an accredited RICS course.
• Masters degree is preferred.
• Experience with drafting software, especially CAD, and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Draft drawings using CAD and occasionally 3D modelling; support the design team.
• Prepare documents to support planning and building regulations applications.
• Interact with clients and builders on call or on site under supervision.
• Knowledge of site surveying is required; mileage for site visits is paid.

Employment Duration: Permanent

Onsite Location: Blackpool, England

Expected Pay: Upto 50,000 GBP per year depending on experience

Job description:

• We are looking for a full time Building Surveyor who has experience in drafting softwares, primarily CAD, occasionally 3D modelling and MS Office suite . Training will be provided.
• This position will require the applicant to learn and develop their existing skill set to complete existing drawings to support the design team, as well as complete supporting documents for both planning and building regulation applications.
• Dealing with clients and builders on call or site under supervision.
• You will have the knowledge of site surveying, training will also be provided. Mileage for site visits will be paid for.
• You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from residential projects to commercial and industrial developments. The position is essentially office-based, however, the hours can be flexible to accommodate your needs.
