Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Building Surveyor for a temporary assignment in Harrow, delivering accurate stock condition assessments, feasibility studies and technical advice to inform long-term investment planning.

The successful candidate will ensure all works and inspections meet regulatory, health and safety and Decent Homes standards, while maintaining asset data and producing clear reports for stakeholders and residents.

This is a temporary role and the rate is £24.81ph PAYE

The successful candidate will provide expert building surveying support across a diverse housing portfolio, delivering accurate stock condition assessments, feasibility studies and technical advice that inform long‑term investment planning.

They will ensure all works and inspections meet regulatory, health and safety and Decent Homes standards, while maintaining precise asset data and producing clear reports to support strategic decision‑making. They will work confidently with residents, contractors and stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and contributing to high‑quality, sustainable housing outcomes through a customer‑focused, collaborative approach.
