Role: Surveyor

Location: Ealing

Role Overview:
As a Surveyor for A2Dominion Homes, you will work remotely to inspect, diagnose, and scope repairs and maintenance works. You will use the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) v7.2 to raise works directly to contractors via our systems, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of day-to-day (D2D) repairs to assess and scope necessary works.
• Identify and inspect issues related to damp, mould, and condensation.
• Apply NHF SOR v7.2 codes accurately when scoping and raising works.
• Raise work orders directly to contractors through A2Dominion’s digital systems, ensuring timely and accurate job allocation.
• Liaise closely with contractors to monitor progress and ensure works are delivered as agreed.
• Approve variation requests promptly and accurately in real time to keep projects on track.
• Apply SOR codes to previously surveyed works and raise additional works as required.
• Maintain regular communication with customers upon request, ensuring they are kept informed throughout the repair process.
• Conduct post-inspections of completed works to verify quality and compliance.
• Prepare and submit claims for completed works, detailing SOR codes and quantities accurately.
• Attend and complete Scott Schedules as necessary to document disputed works.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience in surveying within housing maintenance or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge and application of NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) v7.2.
• Excellent inspection and diagnostic skills, particularly with D2D repairs and damp-related issues.
• Proficient in using digital systems for raising and managing works orders.
• Strong contractor management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage remote workload efficiently.
• Customer-focused approach with good interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail for accurate claims and documentation.
