Carriera Recruitment is working with a dynamic, independent property and construction consultancy to appoint an Assistant Building Surveyor or Building Surveyor to its growing London team. The role offers exposure to senior professionals, a varied portfolio, and clear progression within a growing SME.

You will join an established team working across offices, industrial/logistics, residential, refurbishment, contract administration and due diligence.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in building surveying or related discipline.
• Circa 2+ years' relevant experience.
• Working towards MRICS or recently chartered.
• Consultancy experience would be advantageous.
• Strong technical building surveying knowledge.
• Commercially minded with strong communication skills.
• Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing SME.

Responsibilities

• Join an established building surveying team across a varied portfolio including commercial offices, industrial/logistics, residential, refurbishments and more.
• Assist with contract administration, planned maintenance and refurbishment projects, dilapidations and defect diagnosis.
• Provide technical due diligence and building pathology input.
• Tailor the role around your experience level and progression within a growing SME.
• Work closely with senior surveyors and directors to gain exposure to clients and projects.

Carriera is working with a dynamic, independent property and construction consultancy to appoint an Assistant Building Surveyor or Building Surveyor to its growing London team.

The role:

You will join an established building surveying team, working across a varied portfolio including:

• Commercial offices
• Industrial and logistics
• Residential property
• Refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Contract administration
• Planned maintenance and refurbishment
• Dilapidations
• Technical due diligence
• Defect diagnosis and building pathology

The position can be tailored around your current level of experience. The business is happy to consider someone approaching their APC, an experienced Assistant Building Surveyor with 2+ years' industry experience, or a recently qualified MRICS Building Surveyor.
