Randstad CPE is seeking a Building Surveying Manager in Ipswich to lead a technical surveying team within a public sector organisation. You will oversee capital projects, maintenance, and structural compliance across property portfolios, acting as Contract Administrator/Employer's Agent on major works.

Candidates should hold MRICS/MCIOB/AssocRICS (or equivalent public sector experience) and have a strong background in contract administration and building pathology.

Building Surveying Manager to lead a technical surveying team in Ipswich on behalf of a public sector organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose structural defects and manage damp/mould remediation programmes.

Manage capital budgets, gateway reports, and contractor performance.

Requirements

MRICS, MCIOB, or AssocRICS (or equivalent public sector surveying experience).

Strong background in contract administration and building pathology.

Proven team management and budget handling experience.

Full UK Driving Licence and proximity to Ipswich.

Package

Salary: £51,000 per annum
