Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Building Surveying Manager in Ipswich to lead a technical surveying team on behalf of a public sector organisation. You will guide capital projects, maintenance and structural compliance across property and housing portfolios.

Key duties include mentoring surveyors, acting as Contract Administrator/Employer's Agent on major works (JCT/NEC), diagnosing defects and managing damp remediation, and overseeing budgets, gateway reports and contractor performance.

Qualifications

• MRICS, MCIOB, or AssocRICS certification (or equivalent public sector surveying experience).
• Strong background in contract administration and building pathology.
• Proven team management and budget handling experience.
• Full UK driving licence and proximity to Ipswich.

Salary: £51,000 per annum

Type: Permanent, Full-Time
