Job summary

Velocity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager for interiors and refurbishment projects in the UK. You will oversee all MEP aspects, coordinating with design teams, constructors, and clients to deliver schemes from £500k to £10m.

The ideal candidate has a building services qualification, experience with top contractors, and a track record in commercial or retail fit-out projects. First-rate coordination and handover expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have building services qualification and experience with a top 100 main contractor.
• Experience with fit-out/interiors projects in the £1m-£10m range desirable.
• Experience taking projects from pre-construction (RIBA stage 3) through delivery to handover.

Responsibilities

• Manage all MEP aspects of projects from pre-construction through delivery to handover.
• Lead on building services coordination for interiors and refurbishment schemes.
• Coordinate with clients, supply chain, and site teams to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.

Building Services Manager

This Building Services Manager's role with one of the UK s major main contractor s. They have established themselves as being one the leading main contractor s in the commercial, residential, public and interiors sectors. They work on a diverse range of both new build and refurbishment schemes ranging in value from £500k 50million. The current position is for an experienced Building Services Manager to join their interiors and refurbishment division working on schemes from £500k - £10million

The Person

We are looking for a Building Services Manager who has been working for a top 100 main contractor with experience of commercial or retail fit out projects. You will have experience of taking projects from pre-construction (RIBA stage 3) through delivery to handover and you will be responsible for managing all the MEP aspects of projects.

A recognisable building services qualification is required. Experience of working on fit out and interiors projects in the £1m-£10m range is desirable.

Experience of either MOJ or retail banking would also be desirable but not essential.
