Job summary

Babcock is offering a Building Services Engineer Degree Apprentice programme at Devonport. Over five years you will study for a BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering at UWE Bristol while contributing to naval base projects that support national security.

You will learn from seasoned engineers, gain practical experience and work on HVAC, plumbing, energy systems and sustainability topics, with placements and mentoring throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for UK security vetting (BPSS, SC, NNPPI)
• Willingness to work on site at Devonport ≥3 days/week and commute
• Enrolment in BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering via UWE Bristol (day-release)

Responsibilities

• Assist design and technical analysis for building services systems.
• Contribute to maintenance and improvement of HVAC, plumbing, cooling, and energy systems.
• Support project delivery, documentation and compliance in a regulated environment.
• Gain placements across Devonport engineering teams applying learned concepts.
