Job summary

Kier Group plc is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join our team with responsibilities across Northamptonshire, Cambridge, King’s Lynn, Milton Keynes, Peterborough and Luton. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with training and progression opportunities while supporting wellbeing.

The role requires practical building services or facilities management experience, an apprenticeship/NVQ or equivalent, knowledge of current legislation, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience within building services or facilities management.
• Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and current legislation.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs.
• Liaising with the Contracts Manager to ensure all contract conditions are met.
• Developing strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Monitoring helpdesk jobs and ensuring quality assurance inspections are completed.
• Attending meetings with senior management and clients, completing reports as required.

What will you be responsible for?

• -Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs

You have practical experience within building services or facilities management
