Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover service, maintenance and breakdown of AC systems at Gatwick and Heathrow airports. You will work on split systems, multi-splits, VRV/VRF units and support the building services team as required.

The ideal candidate has a strong air conditioning background, holds a valid UK driving licence, F-Gas certification, and is willing to work flexible hours. A full airport pass will be provided and progression opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Strong background as an air conditioning engineer.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding air conditioning systems.
• Experience with splits, multi-splits and VRV/VRF systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between airports.
• F-Gas certification and ability to pass airport security checks.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and support the building services team.
• 18th Edition would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Cover service, maintenance and breakdown of air conditioning systems.
• Work on splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF units within airport environments.
• Provide support to the building services team when required.
• Maintain high safety and compliance standards on site.

Location - Covering Gatwick & Heathrow Airports

Salary/Package - £42,000 - £50,000, Van/Fuel card, PPE/Tools, Full Airport Pass, OT available, & more.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to cover service, maintenance and break down of Air Conditioning Systems within Gatwick and Heathrow Airports.

This Air Conditioning Engineer will be working on splits, Multi Splits, VRV’s and VRF’s within airport lounges.

The right person for this position will already have a strong Air Conditioning background. They need to be able to perform service, maintenance and breakdown. They also need to be willing to support the building services team when required

Requirements

• Strong background as an air conditioning engineer
• Able to deal with service, maintenance and breakdowns
• Experience working on splits, multi splits and VRV’s
• Willing to multi skill when needed
• Full Uk Driving licence
• Must have Fgas
• Based in a commutable location to either Heathrow or Gatwick airport
• Able to do flexible working hours when needed
• Additional qualifications such as 18th Edition would be a bonus
• Need to be able to complete an airport security check

Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required.
