Job description

VolkerFitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure and building services. We build, renew, maintain highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.

We are looking to recruit a Building Services Engineer to join us working on the Southern Renewals Enterprise. The project will total 5+5 years of multiple individual rail schemes across Network Rail's Southern Route (Kent, Sussex & Wessex).

The role will sit within the Buildings team, who deliver projects at stations. This will include renewal, relocation, refurbishment and upgrading to lighting, power, CIS, PA/VA, fire alarms, CCTV, Help Points, Lifts, Escalators, and telecoms.

As the Building Services Engineer you will be an integral member of the Operations Team, the team being responsible for the effective and efficient running of the site throughout the delivery of the project.

About you

• Technical qualification (example Degree in civil engineering / mechanical or electrical or HND)
• Experience of delivering M&E projects within a Rail Environment.
• An understanding of building services compliance with relevant codes and applicable standards.
