Riverside is seeking a Building Safety Inspector to cover Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. The role focuses on carrying out building safety inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring actions are completed promptly to protect residents and safeguard properties.

Driving licence is essential for site visits. You will work within a housing association with a long-standing commitment to safe, affordable homes and community wellbeing, contributing to risk reduction and compliant building

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence is essential.
• Proven track record of monitoring risk and health and safety compliance in housing.
• Experience carrying out building safety inspections in housing environments.
• Stakeholder management across internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out building safety inspections and identify defects.
• Prioritise actions and ensure timely resolution of hazards.
• Record inspection outcomes and communicate results to teams.
• Escalate safety risks to Team Leader within set timescales.
• Maintain accurate records for KPI reporting.
• Support compliance with regulatory frameworks and data protection.
