Building Performance Analyst – Company

Our client is a fast-growing, multi-award-winning technology company that provides a cutting-edge platform to enhance building performance. Their innovative software enables users to monitor and optimise entire property portfolios remotely, driving improvements in energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and maintenance strategies. With a strong and diverse client base, including leading corporations, universities, and public institutions, they have identified significant CO2 savings equivalent to thousands of households each year.

Building Performance Analyst – Responsibilities

  • Identifying operational performance issues (energy, maintenance, and comfort) using the platform.
  • Surveying and assessing prospective sites and deploying hardware such as air quality and temperature sensors.
  • Building virtual asset models of building services on the platform.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a key contact for major accounts.
  • Use data analysis to identify energy and efficiency savings and support clients in implementing performance improvements.
  • Conduct regular meetings with client teams to drive engagement and action.
  • Assist in deploying and managing third-party hardware for data collection.
  • Support the operations team in building analytics, user interface creation, and custom performance metrics.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the platform.
  • Contribute to internal R&D projects and product development initiatives.

Building Performance Analyst – Person Profile

  • Knowledge and experience in engineering, sustainability, environmental science, or a related STEM field (gained through formal education, hands-on experience, or professional development).
  • A strong passion for sustainability and the built environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for different audiences.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working independently.
