Job summary

Huws Gray Sudbury is looking for a friendly Sales Person to connect with customers, provide expert advice and drive branch success. You will engage with customers in person, over the phone, and at the counter, building lasting relationships.

No prior materials knowledge is required as training is provided. If you enjoy helping customers and have an interest in building materials, we’ll support your growth with real training, progression opportunities and a welcoming, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Some previous customer service experience.
• Sales experience or building materials knowledge is a bonus.
• Full training and support provided to grow in the role.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in person, by phone, and in-branch.
• Prepare quotes, follow up enquiries, and develop leads.
• Manage admin tasks efficiently.
• Provide up-to-date product knowledge to help customers choose materials.
• Maintain well-stocked displays.
• Collaborate with yard and counter sales to support the team.
