Overview

Position: Building Manager

Location: Printworks, London, SE17 3BZ

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 0900 – 1800, Thursday 1000 – 1900

Salary: up to GBP40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: A permanent position that offers stability and room for growth.

Development Details: This role will be based at Printworks, a residential development consisting of 149 apartments with landscaped courtyards. Located a short walk from Elephant and Castle Station and Kennington Station.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Building Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

  • Have experience working in the residential block management sector with a good understanding of leases and health and safety compliance.
  • Experience carrying out site inspections, managing PPMs, ensuring remedials are actioned, incident reporting, and ensuring statutory compliance.
  • Care about creating a positive, clean, and safe environment for residents, guests, and visitors.
  • Experience managing contractors and third–party providers, ensuring health and safety requirements are adhered to and relevant documentation is in place.
  • Deal with onsite emergencies or maintenance related issues.
  • Support onsite major works projects, including obtaining quotations, reviewing RAMS, scope of works, and daily management.
  • Be a true expert in customer service, engaging, communicating, and inspiring others.
  • Have a good eye for detail and experience conducting regular development inspections, reporting defects and health and safety concerns, cleaning, and maintenance (internally and externally).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present/report to clients on onsite operations.
