Job summary

Production Futures Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Maintenance Man responsible for the first line maintenance of site facilities, responding to routine repair requests, and proactively monitoring the site's condition.

You will collaborate with contractors, follow instructions from the Warehouse Manager or Director, perform basic electrical and practical tasks, and help ensure safety and reliability of building services.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated to achieve without constant line management.
• Follows procedures and completes systems entry and paperwork accurately.
• Basic knowledge of decorating, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools.
• Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position.
• Able to prioritise tasks and time spent.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain first-line upkeep of site facilities and respond to routine repair requests.
• Collaborate with contractors and report issues to Buildings & Logistics manager or Director.
• Monitor site conditions and suggest improvements when appropriate.
• Perform electrical tests and maintenance tasks as needed.

Position Overview

Responsible for the first line maintenance of the site(s) facilities. Responds to routine repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion, but also proactively monitors the condition of the site and services to suggest and our carry out improvements once agreed. Follows written and verbal instructions from the Warehouse Manager or Director. Collaborates with contractors as needed. Reports any issues to the Buildings & Logistics manager or Director.

Key Job Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Drive Results - Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs & Light fittings.
• Carry out electrical test (PAT) on office and nonrental assets.
