Job summary

Coyle Personnel Ltd is seeking a Building Maintenance Engineer to operate in the Southwark/London Bridge area. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance in a mixed-use commercial block with specialised Low Pressure Heating systems.

You will handle daily inspections, ensure PPM tasks (SFG 20) are completed, and support the contract manager while coordinating with the Facilities Manager to keep the site running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in building services/maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge of building services, repairs and maintenance.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Recognised City & Guilds electrical or mechanical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned preventive and reactive maintenance tasks in commercial buildings.
• Conduct PPM maintenance (SFG 20).
• Carry out daily inspections of plant and M&E facilities.
• Perform reactive repairs as required.
• Assist the contract Supervisor / contract manager.
• Oversee monitoring of building M&E facilities.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Support other engineering and facilities tasks as requested by the customer via helpdesk.
• Perform basic fabric tasks.
• Liaise with Facilities Manager daily to ensure smooth site operations.
• Coordinate overtime on site and other sites as needed.
