SOCOTEC UK Building and Real Estate is seeking a Building Inspector in Derby to safeguard public safety, support sustainable building practices, and uphold high standards in the built environment. You will inspect construction sites at various stages, advise on regulatory requirements, and work with architects, builders and developers to ensure code-compliant, safe buildings.

Qualifications

• CPD requirements to broaden and develop skills.
• Demonstrate compliance through RBI registration or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and client care across projects.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites at various stages to ensure Building Regulations compliance.
• Review structural designs, advise on regulatory requirements, and liaise with architects and developers.
• Prepare reports and documentation to support regulatory compliance and approvals.
