Job summary

HG Construct, a Harrogate-based building company, is expanding and seeks a Multi-Skilled Builder to join the team on a full-time basis. The role requires bricklaying experience, owning tools, and the ability to work across projects in the Harrogate area.

You will operate plant machinery, read architects' drawings, and contribute to project delivery while keeping sites clean and respectful for clients.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Bricklaying or higher is required.
• 3 years' experience from qualification.
• Driving licence and ability to get to site.
• Previous references.

Responsibilities

• Read architects' drawings and plan work.
• Operate plant and construction machinery.
• Keep customers' home tidy and be respectful at all times.
• Deliver and distribute supplies; assist with lifting.
• Maintain good coordination and stay calm under pressure.

Multi-Skilled Builder

Self-employed rate up to £200 per day

Full time Monday to Friday 8 hours per day

Harrogate/North Yorkshire - must have full UK driving license – own tools required

HG Construct is a small but expanding building company based in Harrogate. They are now looking to grow their existing team. All their work is in the Harrogate area. They specialise in house extensions, barn conversions, loft conversions and house renovations. They have a fantastic order book with a number of projects already planned for the year ahead and beyond.

Due to continued expansion of the business, they are now looking for someone who’d like to develop their skills as the business grows and is also interested in running and managing building projects.

You will possess experience in bricklaying and it would be advantageous if have experience of stone work but this is not essential.
