Job summary

VIVID is recruiting two Multi-Skilled Bricklayers based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. The role is permanent, 39 hours weekly, with on-call duties and shifts from 8:00-16:30 or 10:00-18:30.

You will perform brickwork repairs and related tasks across North Hampshire, with a focus on high-quality workmanship and reliability. The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 2 (or qualified by experience) and can work with minimal supervision, using a handheld device for job updates and emails.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in a skilled trade is required.
• Proven experience in brickwork repairs or qualified by experience.
• Resilience, self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs to properties, including brickwork, concrete, fencing and minor roofing works.
• Work to a set schedule and complete jobs on time and to a high standard; some light admin using a handheld device.
• Be able to drive a company van as needed and comply with safety checks.

We’re looking for 2 Multi-Skilled Bricklayer's to join our team! Contractually based in Basingstoke, you’ll be working across North Hampshire. This is a permanent role, working 39 hours per week as well as participation in our on-call rota.

We have both 8:00am- 4:30pm or 10:00am- 6:30pm shifts available, further info will be provided at interview. You’ll also participate in the emergency on-call rota as required.

Here’s The Facts About The Role

As a bricklayer multi, you’ll carry out a range of responsive repairs to our properties. This could include brickwork repairs, concrete repairs, fencing repairs, minor roofing works, disabled adaptations etc. You’ll work to a set schedule and strive to complete the jobs on time and to a high standard.This role will involve some light admin duties and the use of an electronic handheld device, used to update, complete and reschedule jobs and respond to emails.

You’ll hold an NVQ level 2 in a skilled trade. And have proven experience of brickwork repairs and other repairs works. We’re happy to consider you if you’re ‘qualified by experience’. You’ll have good practical skills and be able to work with minimal supervision, and will be highly self-motivated to want to work hard and get the job done.
