Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Asia Pacific Team in Ipswich!

Within this role, you will provide support to Producers and Brokers in placement and servicing of our clients. You will have daily interactions with our colleagues in Ipswich, London, Mumbai, and other regional offices, as well as with our clients and reinsurers. Travel to London may be required at times.

The business unit handles proportional and non-proportional reinsurance contracts for our clients based across Asia and the Pacific.


How you'll make an impact
  • Understand the client’s business and their reinsurance programmes, working with the placing team to understand specific client requirements
  • Participate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing issues
  • Lead and coordinate workflow around seasonal renewals for assigned accounts
  • Improve client relationships by supervising the delivery of reliable, high-quality, and timely billing and administrative support
  • Coordinate adherence to CEM requirements and controls for clients, the market, and third parties
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with Brokers & Account Executives
  • Act as the primary contact to Brokers, supervising support matters
  • Oversee market security information on reinsurers, checking compliance and financial positions
  • Review marketing sheets for Broking Team
  • Check data, statistics, and information packs supporting client reinsurance placements
  • Liaise with Compliance / Sanctions Team on sanctions checks
  • Connect efficiently with stakeholders, internal and external
  • Support creation of slips/endorsements
  • Ensure files are complete and accurate
  • Maintain contract records within transactional broking systems
  • Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes, and instructions
  • Coordinate reinsurance contract queries and billing
  • Maintain regular contact with colleagues for technical support
  • Handle and resolve client and reinsurer queries
  • Produce contractual documentation timely and accurately
  • Keep files orderly electronically within CEM guidelines
  • Share knowledge proactively with team members for optimal client results
About You
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • CII qualifications or studying towards would be helpful
  • Reinsurance or industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential
  • Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and autonomous work ethic; willing to learn and grow
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and brokers
  • Good time management skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
