Job summary

Aon is recruiting a Broker to join the Political Risk and Structured Credit team in London. The role involves coordinating marketing and negotiations across Lloyd's and Company Markets, with hybrid office/home-based work and opportunities to travel globally.

You will also work with the carbon credit insurance team to develop the carbon credit strategy and client relationships. The position offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to join a diverse, trusted team as we grow our carbon

Qualifications

• London Market Credit & Political Risk insurance experience (broker or insurer).
• Experience leading effective client relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of FCA regulation.
• ACII qualification would be advantageous.
• Curious, innovative and proactive mindset with interest in new markets and risk transfer structures.
• Highly organized and efficient in broking across an international portfolio including carbon credit insurance support.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead virtual and in-person client/market meetings.
• Prepare market submissions and placements from Non‑Binding Indication to binding cover.
• Develop clients with colleagues and service existing clients from meetings to first policies.
• Structure solutions for clients trading in OECD and developing economies.
• canvass the market and negotiate to achieve the best outcomes for the client.
• Represent Aon at client meetings and trade conferences, including travel.
• Collaborate with Aon’s carbon credit insurance team to execute deals and support business development.
