Aviva Broker Operations Underwriter role offers an entry into a growing personal lines broker book. You will be aligned to brokers, analyse risks, and underwrite within approved authority to grow and protect the portfolio.

The position involves data gathering, stakeholder collaboration, and proactive broker engagement. A customer-focused approach and strong communication are essential for success in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills.
• Effective risk analysis and ability to present to brokers/customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large, complex organisation.
• Good knowledge of FCA and relevant regulation and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Responding to mailbox queries, live chat broker demand and inbound calls.
• Data gathering to support broker engagement.
• Building broker engagement by improving our proposition.
• Supporting Distribution, UW, Pricing stakeholders.
• Protecting the Broker book via first class underwriting.
