IPS Group is seeking a Broker/Business Development Manager in the United Kingdom to join our distribution team and work closely with network members and independent brokers.

You will identify growth opportunities, manage broker relationships and support new business and retention targets with a market-facing approach. The role requires insurance industry experience and strong communication to drive profitable expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance market (underwriting, account handling, broker development, or client-facing roles).
• Strong relationship builder with brokers and long-term partnerships.
• Commercial mindset with ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Looking to develop a career in business development and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with Network members and Independent Brokers.
• Work with brokers to understand their business plans and identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct broker reviews, analyze performance, MI and pipeline to drive profitable growth.
• Support new business and retention targets through effective relationship management and market engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximise trading opportunities and broker partnerships.
• Represent the business in the market at broker meetings, networking events and industry functions.
