Job summary

Aon plc in London is seeking a specialist broker to join our Professional Services team, focusing on Design & Construction, Architects and Engineers professional risks. You’ll market and negotiate Professional Indemnity Insurance across Lloyd’s and Company markets, working with some of the world’s largest clients.

You will join a 25-strong Global Broking Centre team, place PII for clients across North America, the UK and Europe, and develop your expertise through a clear career path and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance industry (broker, insurer or professional services).
• Understanding of London market dynamics and core processes.
• Ability to use or learn insurance IT systems quickly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of FCA regulation and compliance.
• Confidence to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of placing brokers to negotiate and place renewals and new business.
• Draft and review insurance contracts and issue them to clients and insurers.
• Sign contracts via electronic placing platforms (such as PPL).
• Prepare market presentations and broker submissions.
• Build strong relationships with underwriters and the wider market.
• Proactively grow your knowledge and represent Aon to clients and colleagues.
• Place PII for clients across North America, the UK and Europe, partnering with our global retail network.
