Job summary

A leading broadcasting company in Milton Keynes is seeking a Broadcast Support Engineer to provide 24/7 technical support for live broadcast operations. You will be responsible for maintaining and modifying broadcast systems, logging issues, and assisting with in-house projects. Candidates should have a background in Broadcast Engineering or Electronics, alongside knowledge of live transmission and video streaming systems. This role involves a flexible rota and attractive benefits including performance-related bonuses and private healthcare.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of live transmission chain in a broadcast environment.
• Good understanding of broadcast systems and standards.
• Some experience in IT and networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line support in all broadcast areas.
• Log all faults and irregularities using ServiceNow.
• Assist with in-house broadcast project and installation work.

Skills

Understanding of 'live' transmission chain

Knowledge of broadcast systems and standards

Experience in IT and networking infrastructure

Experience in video streaming systems

Knowledge of vision, sound, routing, communication systems

Education

Degree in Broadcast Engineering/Electronic Engineering
