Job summary

Red Bee Media in London is seeking a Media Management Operator to handle day-to-day acquisition and media management for playout, QC and content delivery. You will manage MAM workflows, lines bookings and ensure media quality is preserved for clients and internal teams.

Based in a Broadcast-critical team, you will ingest media with subtitles and multi-language audio, check OS material, and troubleshoot issues under pressure while maintaining high accuracy and clear communication with engineers

Qualifications

• Adaptability to last-minute changes and client nuances.
• Strong decision making under pressure when programmes are transmitting imminently.
• Clear and positive communication with customers and engineers.
• High level of accuracy in spotting QC issues and scheduling recordings.

Responsibilities

• Record, ingest and manage media for Playout, Compliance, Access Services and VOD.
• Ensure ingested media is ready for playout preserving original quality.
• Ingest and verify media metadata (subtitles, audio sources, in-vision sign language).
• Record live material from OS sources to server for later playout.
• Quality check material and report faults per client guidelines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate faults to relevant teams.
