Job summary

NEP Bow Tie in London is seeking a Broadcast Engineer to join our multi‑skilled operational team. The role is based in central London with occasional travel on a motor racing contract and supports our AV and broadcast services at high‑profile sites.

You will perform first‑line fault finding, operate vision control, set up CTA systems, and assist with video and audio patching. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in broadcast, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in live

Qualifications

  • Three+ years working in a broadcast environment, handling live production tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with producers, directors and clients.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • First-line fault finding and repair of broadcast/AV equipment to minimise service disruption.
  • Vision control operations and use of CTA systems including video/audio matrices and patching.
  • Operate streaming, encoding and transcoding equipment as required.
  • Rigging and de-rigging of equipment; manual handling involved.
  • Interpreting client requests and providing practical technical solutions on site.
  • Coordinate with project managers and engineers on small-scale projects.
