Job summary

Manpower is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers for a leading vehicle logistics company based in the West Midlands. As a Car Transporter Driver you will operate 11-car transporters across the UK, load/unload vehicles safely, complete deliveries and collections nationwide, and carry out vehicle inspections with full training provided.

OTE £60,000+ per year. Routes span from Cornwall to Scotland and across Wales, the Midlands, London and the South East, with full transporter

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Open to new or experienced drivers.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Transporter experience beneficial but not essential.

Manpower is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Drivers for a leading vehicle logistics company based in the West Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking to develop a career in vehicle transportation. No previous transporter experience is required, as full training will be provided.

The Role

As a Car Transporter Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Operating 11-car transporters across the UK
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle deliveries and collections nationwide
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and reporting any damage
• Completing all relevant paperwork and compliance documentation
• Delivering excellent customer service at dealerships and collection points

Routes vary throughout the UK, covering locations from Cornwall to Scotland and across Wales, the Midlands, London and the South East.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday tramping
• Average working day of approximately 12 hours
• Start times vary depending on route and operational requirements
• Weekend work is very rare and generally offered on a voluntary basis

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Applications welcomed from both newly qualified and experienced Class 1 drivers
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Transporter experience beneficial but not essential

Licence endorsements and points will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
