Job summary

Relyon Safety Services is seeking a part-time Health & Safety Advisor in Bristol to provide expert guidance and support for a growing client base. You will keep policies up to date and conduct risk assessments, audits, and fire safety reviews for multiple clients.

The role includes delivering toolbox talks, assisting with investigations and RIDDOR reporting, and developing safety materials while networking to grow the client base.

Qualifications

• Relevant H&S qualifications and recent experience in a similar role.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate or higher.
• Technical IOSH membership or commitment to achieve it.
• Experience with CDM regulations and site visits.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Proactive, team-focused and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Advise Business owners, Directors and all levels of the workforce on H&S matters and update policies.
• Deliver toolbox talks and training to client workforce.
• Conduct accidents and near-miss investigations and document findings.
• Complete RIDDOR reporting for clients where applicable.
• Develop, implement and monitor Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments and audits for clients and recommend actions.
• Perform Fire Risk Assessments and report findings to clients.
• Engage in site visits and audits for CDM clients.
• Stay current with legislation changes and industry best practices.
• Handle additional duties as required by the Company.
