Job summary

St Matthew's CofE Primary School is seeking support staff for the Breakfast Club to assist with the daily running and a varied activities programme for children from nursery to year 6. You will help prepare refreshments and supervise play, while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

The role includes recording accidents and administering first aid when needed, and following safeguarding and data protection policies in line with school procedures.

Qualifications

• Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
• Follow policies on child protection, health and safety, security, confidentiality and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with running the Breakfast Club for nursery to year 6.
• Prepare and supervise refreshments for the children.
• Record all accidents and incidents and administer first aid when necessary.
• Ensure a safe health, safety and security environment at all times.
• Carry out duties to enhance the club's objectives as directed by supervisors.
